The 1927 sixpence is one of the more common sixpence of George V, especially if sought in mint state . While the relatively high mintage of 3 and a half million contributed to this, this is mostly due to one bank roll surfacing of 1927 sixpence. The sixpence from that bank roll were however, quite bagged and tended to range between MS63 and MS64 with at least one grading MS65 so obtaining examples at this level can still present quite a challenge.
